If you think that you might have an allergy to the chlorine in your swimming pool this is certainly possible. However I would want you to know that this is actually exceedingly rare and would likely involve other areas of your life being affected such as bathing, cooking or cleaning with municipal water sources which all contain chlorine as well. It is very common for pool owners to misattribute a physical reaction with their pool water to being a chlorine allergy. In almost every case this will actually turn out to be a sensitivity to high or low pH levels, or most commonly a sensitivity to combined chlorine...something which should really not be present in properly balanced pool water. In summary, you are more likely sensitive to poorly maintained and balanced pool water.

The number of poorly balanced pools versus well balanced ones is much higher than you might hope. Clear water is NOT an indication of a well balanced pool so simply having clear water is not a good enough measure of the quality of the water. If you ever experience a physical reaction which you believe to be from your pool water it would be a very good idea to capture a water sample and have a details water analysis done. At absolute minimum you need to know the pH, total alkalinity, free chlorine, combined chlorine, CYA level and total dissolved solids levels.
